Dr. Deardorff obtained his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University. Over the course of his career, he established and managed two separate psychology practices and also served as the clinical director of two state agencies. His training and experience has involved the assessment and treatment of children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of psychologically-based difficulties. He has years of experience in treating anxiety, depression, anger management, and issues related to marital dysfunction, adolescent rebellion, and defiant children. While highly regarded in the psychology community, he remains, in his words, “just a regular guy.” You will find him to be humorous, warm, and caring.
