Dr. Nikki Leisgang graduated from Xavier University with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and has served as the Associate Director of a regional psychology practice since 2005. During this time, she has emphasized the importance of personalized care in a relaxed environment. She is skilled in working with individuals who are troubled by anxiety, depression, or anger management. Over the past several years, Nikki’s interests and training have expanded to the field of neuroscience, recognizing the connection between brain health and mental health. More specifically, she has co-created and is the primary clinician for Tabono’s cognitive strength training program designed to help professionals maintain their cognitive edge. She works to refute myths that we should accept changes in focus and memory as a normal part of aging. On a personal note, Nikki lives off the grid on Saturdays during football season, so her game watching is uninterrupted.

While living in Illinois, Jen worked with kids and adults alike, providing treatment and support for a variety of issues. In 2017, she moved to Cincinnati and immediately fell in love with the city and its art, parks, music, and food. At the same time, she joined Tabono, bringing those years of experience to her work with adolescents and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, and change of life struggles. While she is knowledgeable, she is warm and approachable. She is supportive, encouraging, and has a gentle approach to help you reach beyond your own comfort zone. In 2022, Jen was named Director of Tabono. Under her leadership, Tabono opened a new office in West Chester. We’ve also expanded the types of services we provide, including trauma focused interventions. Now that Jen has lived here for more than five years, she considers Cincinnati her new home even though she still periodically asks, “Who is Joey B?”
