Oppositional Behavior
Therapy with children and adolescents is most successful when parents are involved. While it is important for you to accompany your child to the appointment, the amount of time you, the caretaker, see the clinician will depend on the child’s age and the reasons for counseling.
For example, younger children with behavioral issues may require more parental involvement. On the other hand, the clinician may spend more individual time with an adolescent who is struggling with depression.
At Tabono, we know that no child lives in a bubble, so we understand the importance of parental involvement – no matter what the age. To better serve your family, Tabono offers after school hours so that your child’s treatment does not interfere with school.
