Dr. Nikki Leisgang graduated from Xavier University with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and has served as the Associate Director of a regional psychology practice since 2005. During this time, she has emphasized the importance of personalized care in a relaxed environment. She is skilled in working with individuals who are troubled by anxiety, depression, or anger management. Over the past several years, Nikki’s interests and training have expanded to the field of neuroscience, recognizing the connection between brain health and mental health. More specifically, she has co-created and is the primary clinician for Tabono’s cognitive strength training program designed to help professionals maintain their cognitive edge. She works to refute myths that we should accept changes in focus and memory as a normal part of aging. On a personal note, Nikki lives off the grid on Saturdays during football season, so her game watching is uninterrupted.
Jennifer Lee, LISW- S

Jen earned her master’s degree in social work from the University of Illinois-Champaign Urbana. While living in Illinois, Jen worked with kids and adults alike, providing treatment and support for a variety of issues. In 2017, she moved to Cincinnati and immediately fell in love with the city and its art, parks, music, and food. At the same time, she joined Tabono, bringing those years of experience to her work with adolescents and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, and change of life struggles. While she is knowledgeable, she is warm and approachable. She is supportive, encouraging, and has a gentle approach to help you reach beyond your own comfort zone. In 2022, Jen was named Director of Tabono. Under her leadership, Tabono opened a new office in West Chester. We’ve also expanded the types of services we provide, including trauma focused interventions. Now that Jen has lived here for more than five years, she considers Cincinnati her new home even though she still periodically asks, “Who is Joey B?”
Lauren Feria, Psy.D.
Licensed Psychologist
Dr. Lauren Feria was born and raised in Cincinnati. While she ventured to Florida for college, she returned to her hometown to earn her Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology from Xavier University in 2012. She specializes in Cognitive-Behavioral interventions, and has received specialized training in DBT. Lauren has experience working with a variety of individuals, ranging from high school-aged adolescents to working adults. She strives to promote a warm and welcoming environment while helping clients manage their anxiety, depression, or other general concerns. In her free time, Lauren likes to be with her two young sons and family, exercise, cook and travel. An interesting fact about Lauren is that she has two pugs named Bowser and Yoshi, who have more energy than her children!
Joan Simpson, Psy. D
Licensed Psychologist
Dr. Joan Simpson graduated from The Adler School of Professional Psychology (currently named Adler University) with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and has been practicing in various roles within Psychology since 1994. She specializes in the treatment of adults who experience anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic illness and pain management. Joan uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in a positive and accepting atmosphere of caring. Joan has recently begun training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Therapy. Joan enjoys time with her husband and two teenagers, family, as well as friends.
Shawna McCullah, LPCC
Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor
Shawna McCullah is a Licensed Professional Counselor, who has over fifteen years’ experience working in vocational rehabilitation in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. She utilizes both, a Cognitive Behavioral Approach (CBT) and Client-Center therapy to create a safe and confidential environment that fosters growth, development, and change. Providing warmth, basic acceptance, support, and empathy she hopes to help clients feel at ease when discussing issues that may be tough to talk about. She has a passion for working with individuals from many different cultures. She is open to serve individuals and couples.
Larin Rearden, LISW- S

Larin obtained her Bachelor of Social Work from Morehead State University and her Master of Social Work from University of New England. Over the past 14 years, Larin has worked with adolescents and adults in various settings, so brings unique insight into her treatment approach. She knows the importance of meeting clients where they are, not where they think they should be. Emphasizing cognitive behavioral and trauma-informed therapy, she aims to provide quality interventions in an empathic environment. When Larin is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and pets. She truly enjoys all the beauty that Southeastern Ohio offers.
Megan Farlow, MSW, LISW-S

Megan Farlow earned her master’s degree in social work from the University of Cincinnati. Megan works with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, health challenges, and life transitions. Megan is committed to providing a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings, develop coping strategies, and work towards meaningful change. Megan tailors therapeutic techniques to meet the unique needs of each client, empowering them to achieve their goals. In her free time, Megan enjoys rock climbing, crafting, and cheering on her Cincinnati sports teams.
